RTP Company has hired Steakshop Catering numerous times, for large and small functions. We have always been happy with their service. Their employees ensure the food service is timely and they have been pleasant to work with.

They provide good input in the planning stages of an event. They are able to handle a barbecue style meal at a company picnic, provide soup and sandwich meals for a customer meeting, and provide alternatives to satisfy international appetites during a global sales meeting. They are flexible and work hard to accommodate our changing needs.

Steak Shop Catering has provided the catering for the Minnesota Beethoven Festival during the past four years. They have provided services for both big and small groups—from Joshua Bell to the Minnesota Orchestra, from picnic style to semi-formal. In every case, they have performed exceptionally well. They have always met or exceeded our expectations. We are using Steakshop Catering for our Festival this year and expect to use them in the years ahead. I give them our highest expectations.

Thanks so much for the great breakfast you served the BAM bike riders August 21, 2009. The food was very good and I’ve heard so many compliments. Despite the rain, it sent the riders up those hills fortified until lunch.

The food was great! I think we set the bar now for all the other Fire Schools serving steak and baked potatoes for lunch!

We can’t thank you all enough for all your hard work to make Chris and Aaren’s reception so wonderful. You exceeded our expectations. The food was so delicious and presented beautifully. We heard over and over compliments of praise from the guests about the meal and service. The whole day was perfect and memorable and you all played a huge role in making it so awesome.

Thank you very much for the very excellent job that you did catering the Winona FFA Banquet at WSHS on April 14. The food was excellent, the service was fantastic and your staff went above and beyond the call of duty. In 17 years of Winona FFA Banquets, this was the best overall catering job that we have ever had. Keep up the super job and I hope to see you again.

I have had the privilege of working with the Steak Shop, and its personnel this past school year at St. Martin’s Lutheran School. The Steak Shop has been our catering service for the past few years. They have been providing nutritional hot lunches to our K-8 students and also to the students and staff of Hope Lutheran High. The lunches are served daily throughout the school year.

Steak Shop has always conducted themselves in a professional manner, from the servers to the office staff. They are always punctual, and well prepared. The lunches are a sound well tasting meal for our school. They are friendly, courteous, and organized. We appreciate their service, punctuality, and quality of service and meals. They are an organization I would recommend for anyone, or any business that has catering needs.

Steak Shop Catering, Inc. has provided catering services for Merchants Bank for many years and they have always provided excellent food and service. The largest event serves about 1,200 people and they have catered this annual event for 20 years. There are 4 other annual events that serve 300 to 400 people that they have also done a great job on. They have also catered numerous smaller events for 6 to 25 people every year. We would recommend them for all catering needs.

The Central Lutheran Church Child Care Center has used the Steakshop Catering Service as their caterer for nearly a decade, and I have worked with the management and staff at the Steakshop personally for five years. Our daily attendance of approximately 50 infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children have received their noon meals from the Steak Shop; over the years this has been 2600 days served and 130,000 meals!! Each and every meal has been of the highest quality.

The Steak Shop’s quality meals meet or exceed the USDA Child & Adult Care Food Program requirements to which our center must adhere. Each day and throughout the month the nutritionally well balanced meals provide a variety of healthy food choices. The children look forward to “Taco Tuesday;” they gobble up the hamburger gravy and mashed potatoes; they can’t get enough of the chicken nuggets and lasagna and breadsticks.

Additionally, we have called upon the Steak Shop to provide us with additional meals for special occasions. The center hosts a Christmas Program and meal for the families, grandparents and staff, about 250-300 people.  The Steakshop has provided us with scrumptious meals that have received raves from the adults. Parents stated that they are glad their children are so well fed each day.

The Steak Shop staff is friendly and accommodating to any changes needed in our daily food contract. There are occasions when our number of required daily meals changes, or we have a need for a box lunch or picnic meal at another location, or we have a day the center is closed, in every instance the Steakshop accommodates our needs. The meals are delivered each day at a consistent time; this is critical to the center staff when faced with many hungry children. The Steakshop makes our clean-up task easy by picking up the food bins and washing them for us.

The Central Lutheran Child Care Center staff and children are very well pleased with the quality food and service provided to us by the Steakshop Catering Service. We hope our relationship will continue for many years to come.

Steak Shop Catering has provided the Cotter Schools with its food service program since the mid 1990s. During this time Steak Shop has been the source of lunches for the high school and the junior high school during the regular school year. They have also provided our dormitory (the Cotter Residence Center) with their breakfasts and dinners daily throughout the time our boarding students are with us. We have used their services for school and community dinner events and for faculty and staff celebrations.

This company has been a pleasure to work with and they are always very accommodating to our needs. They have been professional in all aspects of the services that they have provided from the menu planning to the food preparation, the serving to the clean-up. We are extremely pleased with Steak Shop Catering, their product, and their personnel.

As Executive Director of Winona Volunteer Services, I am writing this letter in support of Steak Shop Catering. Winona Volunteer Services is a non-profit service provider and advocate in Winona County working to improve the quality of life in the Winona community. With a caring network of dedicated volunteers and partners, we secure and distribute food, clothing, information, referrals, and emergency assistance in a respectful and dignified manner to people in need.

Our agency contracts with Steak Shop catering to provide the noontime meals for our Home Delivered Meal program Monday thru Friday. We have had this working relationship for over nine years because we value their quality of service and reasonable pricing. Their service extends beyond making the meals. For example, their staff has delivered meals on our behalf when one of our volunteers were unable to;  their staff helps our staff reconcile the monthly meals for billing; their staff sets out cookies and treats for our volunteer drivers showing appreciation for their commitment to this program; their staff relays messages from our clients and volunteers to our staff; their staff is open to suggestions for adjusting the meals to meet the diversified needs of our clients. We are confident in our ability to provide the Home Delivered Meals program to needy individuals because we can depend on Steak Shop Catering to do their best to support us.

They are also an active community partner supporting events such as the Chocolate, Shakespeare and Champagne fundraiser for the Winona Historical Society. For the past four years, they have donated chocolate dipped strawberries to this event which welcomes over 200 guests each year. WVS strongly supports the dedication and service of Steak Shop Catering.

It’s always a pleasure to work with you on our parties. We came out about right on the food. Lots of compliments on the food. We served 115 and some twice.

Steak Shop was Great! We want to thank Steak Shop Catering for catering our daughter’s wedding reception. With short notice, they stepped in and took care of us. The guests had only kind words about the food, it was great. The staff is wonderful and nice to work with. They made the dinner go smoothly I know I’ll call them again for a catering service if I ever need it. Thanks to Darell and his staff, nobody left hungry.

Thank you so much for the good…nope…excellent service when I called the other day to order tuna salad with olives...you cared enough to ask about the ingredients when you could have just said no, we don’t make it that way....delicious & will be the only way we ever order it from now on.
